Kingston City Council Says...

Kingston saw a significant reduction in utilisation of its aquatic leisure centres during 2019/20. This was due to the permanent closure of the Don Tatnell Leisure Centre in January, due to a structural building issue, as well as the temporary closure of the Waves Leisure Centre in March, due to the Victorian Government's COVID-19 restrictions. Waves Leisure Centre reopened on 2 June at a significantly reduced capacity, in line with the COVID-19 restrictions.
