Kingston City Council Says...

The introduction of a new library management system in May has allowed a complete analysis of the collection to be undertaken. The collection has been updated to ensure the needs, preferences and interests of the community continue to be met. The prior year measures are not directly comparable due to the change in the library management system.

The increase in cost per visit is due to lower visitations, due in part to the closure of Dingley Village Library for renovations from December 2018. It is anticipated that Dingley Village Library will reopen in 2019/20.
