Council received 402 new planning permit applications in 2018/19. The cost to deliver the service was $746,683, less than the cost incurred in the 2017/18 financial year. However, Council's cost per application has marginally increased in 2018/19, which can be attributed to a reduced number of new planning permit applications being received in 2018/19 (402) compared to 474 applications being received in 2017/18.
